In its first year, the race featured about 5688 runners and has now grown to over 14,000 runners. The event is organized by runDisney – a division of Disney Sports Enterprises. The race, which started in 1994, is usually organized at the beginning of January on the first weekend after New Year’s. The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is an annual race that is being held in Orlando, Florida. General Registration opened on April 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM ET For the Live event, Club run Disney Gold and Platinum Registration began on April 4, 2023.
